Steve is a Chartered Surveyor who has specialised in UK commercial and residential real estate for 23 years. He has held a number of positions including Head of UK Asset Management at an Institutional Investor where he was responsible for UK asset management of a £3bn portfolio of assets; running a London Stock Exchange listed REIT; fiduciary oversight of a company which issued bonds secured against Shared Ownership homes; and running the asset and estates management business of UK focused boutique investor. Herts Living been set up to satisfy a number of strategic objectives held by its shareholder, Hertfordshire County Council, to deliver significant numbers of high quality residential, community and ancillary buildings within Hertfordshire with the objective of making greater financial returns than would be available by selling vacated or surplus sites.
